A truly wonderful book encompassing a somewhat narrow but critical years of papal coinage, from the resumption of distinctly papal coins in the late Mediæval period (there was an earlier period in the 8th, 9th, and 10th Centuries, not covered here) through the coinage of the Renaissance.4/5(1).
